Sleep is SO IMPORTANT, especially for our mental health. A lack of rest can increase negative emotional responses and decrease our ability to concentrate and learn. If you suffer from mental health issues already, not getting sufficient sleep can increase depression + even suicidal ideation. Unfortunately .. and fortunately.. I’ve experienced insomnia from my psychiatric disorder and have a very full understanding of how volatile it can become. After trying and failing with prescription drugs, drug-drugs & every sleep-promising tea on the market, I was starting to feel a bit hopeless. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands and study the mind and ancient remedies for quieting a restless and hyper brain. That is how the Deep Sleep recipe came to be.

DYK: The ritual of drinking tea has been around since 2700 BCE. Since then, thousands of recipes have been created to help nearly every disease + symptom known to mankind. At Amid The Moss we have been studying these remedies (remeteas, lol) since our first sip of chamomile circa ‘96. Now that a few of our own recipes have been practiced and tested, we are ready to share them with you!
Each jar contains ~35 grams of tea
Approx 2–3 grams of tea for every 8 ounces of hot water
